Two alleged stunt drivers with lead feet were charged Tuesday by the Caledon OPP.

The first driver was stopped by a traffic cop in the Hwy. 10- Highpoint Side Rd. area, near Orangeville.

A 52-year-old Barrie driver was clocked going 176 km/h in a 80 km/h zone, according to police.

Later in the day, another officer was on Hwy. 9 — about 15 kilometres west of Schomberg —  when he came upon a driver in a black sedan who was allegedly doing doughtnuts.

A 32-year-old driver from Brampton was stopped and charged with stunt driving.

Both drivers received an immediate seven-day vehicle impound and driver’s licence suspension.
