Heathrow Airport has introduced extra job cuts after demand for air journey hit an all-time low in Might.

The corporate has launched a voluntary redundancy scheme – with Heathrow chief government John Holland-Kaye warning that efforts to guard frontline roles are “now not sustainable”.

He added: “Whereas we can not rule out additional job reductions, we’ll proceed to discover choices to minimise the variety of job losses.”
