McGriddles we hardly knew ye.

Sad but true McDonald’s has had to temporarily eliminate 10 items from its menu due to the COVD-19 pandemic.

The removal of McGriddles, bagels (à la carte and sandwiches), Big Breakfast, salads (entrée and side), croissants, danishes, mini-chocolatines, and cones comes as the fast food giant tries to “simplify operations and support social distancing in our kitchens,” it said in a statement.

In Quebec, the fried egg Big Breakfast and toast are off the menu too.

Otherwise, if locations still have the now unavailable products, they’ll sell them while supplies last. Their removal went into effect on April 14.

McDonald’s says it will be constantly looking at the situation and more changes could be in store but it hopes to bring back all 10 removed menu items as soon as possible.

The only way to get their food remains through Mobile Order & Pay (in Drive-Thru only), Drive-Thru and McDelivery.
