Between April 23-27, police responded to a number of reports of overdoses from people taking an unknown narcotic in the downtown area, and multiple treatments of Naloxone were given.
Police say there have been two people who died in private residences but didn’t disclose how many overdoses there have been overall.
Police also want people using drugs to be extremely cautious and to not take them alone.
If anyone has a serious physical illness after consuming a narcotic, they should go to a hospital emergency room or walk-in clinic immediately for treatment.
