York Regional Police are asking a person of interest to come forward in their investigation of an arson earlier this year at Buttonville Airport.

On Feb. 27 at 11:30 p.m., police were called to the airport, where they found a Dassualt Falcon 50 tri-jet on fire outside a hanger.

The blaze was extinguished by Markham Fire and Emergency Services and there were no injuries.

An Ontario Fire Marshal’s investigation determined the fire was started intentionally.

Cops on Thursday released a photo of a person who is believed to have information that may assist in the investigation.

This person, or anyone who can identify him, is asked to contact police.
