Prince the puppy is back home.
The five-month-old Husky and Pomeranian pup that was in a vehicle when it was stolen in Richmond Hill over the weekend has been returned to its family.
On Sunday at 4:40 p.m., York Regional Police were called to a condominium building on South Park Rd., near Hwy. 7 and Bayview Ave., for a report of a stolen vehicle.
The victim told police shehad stopped her white Range Rover in front of the building and went to the front desk. When she returned, her vehicle was gone, as was her puppy.
A short time later the SUV was found empty on Seneca Dr., in the Weston and Rogers Rds. area of Toronto.
On Monday around at 5 p.m., police say they were told the dog “had been dropped off by an unknown person outside of the family’s residence” in Richmond Hill.
