As the president’s doctor makes this statement, some medical experts are taking a more cautious stance, warning that Trump’s condition may be serious.President Trump, who has been in hospital treatment since friday evening, released a series of video images to show that treatment for the corona virus infection is going well and to reassure the public.
Trump said “This is a very interesting adventure, I learned a lot about COVID ” in the video which he posted via Twitter on Sunday.
His doctors said that Trump’s health is improving and he can return to the White House on Monday.
74-year old Trump is treated with dexamethasone, a type of cortisone drug. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid used in the treatment of the most severe status of Corona infection. Trump is also taking the antiviral drug remdesivir, which is administered intravenously in a five-day cure. The president has just completed the second day of his five day remdesivir treatment.
White House doctor Sean Conley said on Sunday that Trump’s situation is worse than previously announced.
Experts who monitor Trump’s health, on the other hand, say that the President’s situation is might be worse than what Dr.Conley had recorded. Trump is in the category of patients at risk who may develop serious complications due to corona virus infection.
Trump toured the hospital Sunday to greet supporters gathered outside Walter Reed Hospital.
On the other hand, Joe Biden, the 77 year old presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, announced that the results of several Coronavirus tests he had done after sharing the same podium with Trump in the debate program published last Tuesday were negative.
President Trump is also fighting to secure a conservative majority in court by bringing federal judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.
Several people who were present at the ceremony held at the White House on September 26, when President Trump nominated Judge Barrett for Constitutional Court membership, also caught the Corona virus.These include two Republican Members of the Senate, who will approve Judge Barrett’s membership of the Constitutional Court.
